Meet Your Instructor

Meagan Mitchell, LICSW

MSW, MEd

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and know from first-hand experience how overwhelming the process of preparing for the licensing exam can be. Agents of Change is here to help!

Education and teaching are deep-seated passions in my life. In addition to my MSW I also hold a Master’s in Education (MEd). I have a deep understanding of the science behind learning and strive to find ways to connect and engage with a variety of learning styles.

I have created engaging audio and visual lessons to help you prepare for the ASWB exams and feel confident on test day! I look forward to partnering with you on your journey towards licensure.

Getting Started: Studying for Success

Organization is key! Do you feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to stay motivated in your studying? This session will help participants get organized.

Strategy: Approaching and Examining Practice Questions

In this section, we cover the basics on how to build critical thinking and breaking down question strategies.

Unit 1: Human Development, Diversity and Behavior

This section will go over the major developmental theories. This includes: Erikson, Piaget and Kohlberg.

Unit 2: Assessment and Intervention Planning

Risk Assessment, Mandated Reporting, DSM 5, Personality Disorders, and Medications are reviewed in this section.

Unit 3: Interventions with Clients and Client Systems

Micro, Mezzo, and Macro. Therapy Theories, Group and Family, and Community Social Work are covered.

Unit 4: Professional Ethics and Ethical Decision Making

Code of Ethics, Ethical Principles, Clincal Supervision, Confidentiality, Subpoenas and Court Orders. Termination.

Practice Questions and Rationales

75 question practice test including answers and detailed rationales. As a bonus, you'll also have access to 4 practice question sets and rationales.

Typical students take 3-5 weeks to complete the Agents of Change lessons and we recommend reviewing the materials at least 2 times. To get the most out of the program, you should expect to spend a minimum of 5 hours per week on this program’s material and utilize additional study resources as well.
Yes, you will have access to the materials for 1 year. And even better, you’ll continue to get updates to the course as we continue to update it and add new content!
While these resources provide you strong exposure to key topics on the ASWB exams, they are intended to be a supplement to other materials and additional studying done independently. Completing these materials from Agents of Change does not guarantee a passing score on the actual ASWB exam.
