Description of the Course:
This comprehensive continuing education course delves deep into the crucial topics of organizational wellness and burnout, tailored specifically for social workers.
Participants will embark on an exploration of the nuanced differences between burnout, languishing, and thriving. They’ll gain insights into identifying and responding to these states both in themselves and their colleagues.
Central to the course is a detailed examination of organizational support tools, including the distinctive roles of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and life coaching services. Attendees will master the art of conflict resolution at the organizational level, learning how to mediate disputes effectively and enhancing team dynamics. The course also champions the pivotal role of emotional intelligence in the workplace, underscoring its significance in promoting the use of mental health services and preventing burnout.
A highlight of the program is the introduction to the RELIEF acronym, which offers a holistic strategy to combat burnout. By the course’s conclusion, participants will be equipped with actionable strategies and a robust understanding of how to foster a healthy work environment, ensuring the well-being of colleagues and themselves.
Recognize and explain the differences between EAP (Employee Assistance Program) and life coaching services provided by organizations, and demonstrate knowledge of the benefits they can provide to clients.
