Course Description: Supporting Clients in a Dysregulated World is a live CE event designed to help clinicians understand nervous system regulation versus survival states and how these show up in therapy. Participants will explore how their own nervous systems influence clinical presence, attunement, and outcomes. The training offers simple, practical in-session regulation strategies clinicians can use immediately with clients.
Learning Objectives:
- Differentiate between states of nervous system regulation and survival responses and identify how each presents in clinical sessions.
- Assess the impact of their own nervous system states on therapeutic presence, attunement, and clinical decision-making.
- Apply at least three simple in-session regulation strategies to support client stabilization and engagement in real time.
