Course Description
Explore clinical strategies to identify, address, and dismantle ableism through inclusive, anti-oppressive, and disability-affirming care. Cultural Competence, Clinical, Macro
Learning Method: Recorded asynchronous distance (non-interactive). This course includes a recorded video and access to the presented resources.
Amount of CE Credit Offered: 1 Cultural Competency CE Credit. ASWB ACE and NBCC.
Fees: This course can be purchased individually for $25.00 or as part of an annual unlimited continuing education subscription available for $75/year.
Posttest: Following the course, the participant will take a 10 question posttest. A score of 70% correct is required to pass and obtain a certificate. If you do not pass the posttest, it can be re-taken after fully reviewing the materials again.
Certificate of Completion: In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must indicate that you've watched the entire video portion of the course, earn a passing grade on the test, and complete the requested course evaluation.

Robbin Miller
I self-identify as an individual with Attention Deficit Inattentive Disorder and having a speech impediment from youth. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University at Albany; a Master’s Degree in Student Personnel from the College of St. Rose; a second Masters in Non-Profit Management from Worcester State University; and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from the University of Maine at Orono. I am a licensed mental health counselor from the state of Massachusetts since 2005. I have a small private practice since 2006. I also am academic coach for students with disabilities and Adjunct Professor at a local community college where I teach Introduction to Sociology to a diverse undergraduate population. I worked as an Advocacy Coordinator for an Independent Living Agency for Persons with Disabilities and as a Social Justice Organizer for a non-profit advocacy organization for Elders.
