Course Description
Explore evidence-based strategies to address heavy cannabis use in youth via CBT and motivational therapy. Research material authors authored the research only, and were not involved in creating this CE course. Substance Abuse, Teens, Clinical.
Learning Method: Reading-based asynchronous distance format.
Amount of CE Credit Offered: 2 General CE Credit. ASWB ACE and NBCC.
Fees: This course can be purchased individually for $25.00 or as part of an annual unlimited continuing education subscription available for $75/year.
Posttest: Following the course, the participant will take a 20 question posttest. A score of 70% correct is required to pass and obtain a certificate. If you do not pass the posttest, it can be re-taken after fully reviewing the materials again.
Certificate of Completion: In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must indicate that you've watched the entire video portion of the course, earn a passing grade on the test, and complete the requested course evaluation.

Fred Muench
Fred is passionate about working with small teams to build impactful behavioral health interventions that change lives. With a career spanning roles such as CEO, Founder, Director of R&D, Associate Professor, and harm reduction outreach worker, he currently leads multiple projects including Clear30, a cannabis cessation app with over 5,000 downloads and a research collaboration with Harvard. He is also the co-founder of Vagus Labs, innovating passive mental health tools, and serves as Board Chair of Resily and Associate Professor at Northwell Health. Over the past two decades, Fred has developed and sold digital health interventions, led major research initiatives, and authored nearly 100 publications, all while focusing on expanding access to addiction and mental health care.
