Course Description
Explore the impacts of trauma-engaged work, including secondary traumatic stress, burnout, and practical resilience strategies. Trauma, Clinical, Burnout.
Learning Method: Recorded asynchronous distance (non-interactive). This course includes a recorded video and access to the presented resources.
Amount of CE Credit Offered: 1 General CE Credit. ASWB ACE and NBCC.
Fees: This course can be purchased individually for $25.00 or as part of an annual unlimited continuing education subscription available for $49/year.
Posttest: Following the course, the participant will take a 10 question posttest. A score of 70% correct is required to pass and obtain a certificate. If you do not pass the posttest, it can be re-taken after fully reviewing the materials again.
Certificate of Completion: In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must indicate that you've watched the entire video portion of the course, earn a passing grade on the test, and complete the requested course evaluation.

Melissa Elliott-Brogan, DSW, LCSW-R (She/her) is currently a clinical social worker who specializes in trauma and who owns a trauma-informed safe space group practice on Long Island called Sardonyx Wellness LCSW, PLLC. She is a clinically certified trauma professional (CCTP) since 2018 and specializes in surviving trauma across the lifespan inclusive of: Anxiety, Panic d/o, OCD, C-PTSD, Personality Disorders, 9/11 Crisis and First Responder Recovery, Bipolar d/o, DID/Dissociative d/o, self-harm, severe and persistent disability, chronic illness, dual disorder treatment, and traumatic grief and loss.
