Course Description
AI offers social work organizations countless opportunities to increase efficiency, personalization, and scale. But what should leaders automate, augment, or preserve as human? Drawing on real-world growth experiences, this session introduces a practical VALUES framework for balancing innovation, sustainability, risk, human connection, and social work values in AI and technology leadership decisions.
Learning Objectives
- Evaluate an organizational AI or technology decision using the VALUES framework.
- Identify key leadership considerations and safeguards for implementing AI in ways that protect equity, quality, accountability, human connection, and organizational mission.
- Develop one actionable strategy for using AI or emerging technology to expand organizational capacity while protecting social work values, accountability, and human connection.
Learning Method: Synchronous distance (interactive)
Amount of CE Credit Offered: 2 Live CE Credit. ASWB ACE and NBCC.
Fees: This course can be purchased individually for $79.00 or as part of an annual unlimited continuing education subscription available for $99/year.
Posttest: No posttest is required as this is a live CE event.
Certificate of Completion: A certificate will be issued at the end of the live event to all attendees who attended at least 80% of the live event.

Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 7/26/2023 – 7/26/2027. Social workers completing this course receive 2 Live CE Credit.
