Parenting Strategies
Course Description
This course provides clinicians with adaptable, evidence-based techniques to support diverse parenting styles, foster trust, and enhance development of children through communication, inclusion, and empowerment.
Learning Method: Recorded asynchronous distance (non-interactive). This course includes a recorded video and access to the presented resources.
Amount of CE Credit Offered: 1.5 General CE Credit. ASWB ACE and NBCC.
Fees: This course can be purchased individually for $25.00 or as part of an annual unlimited continuing education subscription available for $75/year.
Posttest: Following the course, the participant will take a 15 question posttest. A score of 70% correct is required to pass and obtain a certificate. If you do not pass the posttest, it can be re-taken after fully reviewing the materials again.
Certificate of Completion: In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must indicate that you've watched the entire video portion of the course, earn a passing grade on the test, and complete the requested course evaluation.
Content Level:
Both beginning and intermediate-level content are included in this course.

Agents of Change, #1919, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 7/26/2023 – 7/26/2027. Social workers completing this course receive 1.5 General CE Credit.

Stephanie Lopez
Stephanie is a licensed social worker, educator, and clinical consultant with extensive experience supporting diverse populations in school and clinical settings. As a former school social worker and Clinical Director at an Eating Disorder clinic, she has dedicated her career to fostering inclusivity, equity, and student success. With expertise in both direct clinical practice and large-scale educational consulting, Stephanie has worked closely with schools and organizations to implement effective, research-based strategies that enhance child development and family dynamics. In addition to her work in schools, Stephanie previously managed a private practice in Westchester County and is the founder of a clinical consulting firm specializing in professional development and CEU training for educators, social workers, psychologists, and university faculty. Her passion for empowering families and professionals through education makes her an invaluable voice in the Agents of Change Community. Stephanie’s dynamic background equips her with the insight and expertise to help parents, caregivers, and professionals create supportive environments that foster communication, trust, and positive relationships.
