Course Description
Empower clinicians to recognize, treat, and support NICU parents experiencing postpartum anxiety with compassion and evidence-based care. Clinical, Medical,
Learning Method: Recorded asynchronous distance (non-interactive). This course includes a recorded video and access to the presented resources.
Amount of CE Credit Offered: 1 General CE Credit. ASWB ACE and NBCC.
Fees: This course can be purchased individually for $25.00 or as part of an annual unlimited continuing education subscription available for $75/year.
Posttest: Following the course, the participant will take a 10 question posttest. A score of 70% correct is required to pass and obtain a certificate. If you do not pass the posttest, it can be re-taken after fully reviewing the materials again.
Certificate of Completion: In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must indicate that you've watched the entire video portion of the course, earn a passing grade on the test, and complete the requested course evaluation.

Jen Rivera
Jen Rivera is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in child welfare and specialized training in Perinatal Mood Disorders and Perinatal Psychotherapy. As a mother of two and an Army wife, she brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work supporting parents through challenging transitions. After her youngest spent time in the NICU, Jen experienced postpartum anxiety firsthand, gaining a deeper appreciation for the emotional complexities faced by NICU parents. Today, she is passionate about educating clinicians and providers on accurately screening for and supporting parents experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), bridging the gap between clinical knowledge and lived experience to ensure no parent feels unseen or unsupported.
