Course Description
Build resilience as a helping professional with strategies to prevent burnout, honor boundaries, and sustain well-being.
Learning Method: Recorded asynchronous distance (non-interactive). This course includes a recorded video and access to the presented resources.
Amount of CE Credit Offered: 1 General CE Credit. ASWB ACE and NBCC.
Fees: This course can be purchased individually for $25.00 or as part of an annual unlimited continuing education subscription available for $75/year.
Posttest: Following the course, the participant will take a 10 question posttest. A score of 70% correct is required to pass and obtain a certificate. If you do not pass the posttest, it can be re-taken after fully reviewing the materials again.
Certificate of Completion: In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must indicate that you've watched the entire video portion of the course, earn a passing grade on the test, and complete the requested course evaluation.

Sherronda Banks
With over 21 years of experience across social work, education, and mental health, Sherronda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LISW-CP) dedicated to intentional healing, advocacy, and transformation. As a Clinical Therapist, Lecturer at UNC Charlotte, and Founder of Intentional Steps Counseling Services, PLLC, Sherronda brings both professional expertise and lived experience into every space she enters, whether in classrooms, therapy sessions, or community trainings. Sherronda's work focuses on resiliency, mental wellness, DEIPAR (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Power, and Anti-Racism), and BIPOC-centered healing. Sherronda specializes in building safe and brave spaces for individuals and communities to explore, grow, and lead. Sherronda is also committed to mentoring the next generation of social workers and expanding access to culturally responsive care. Whether Sherronda is speaking at conferences, leading trainings, or working one-on-one, her goal is the same: to support others in walking boldly in their truth with clarity, care, and purpose.
