About The Live CE Event

Amount of CE Credit Offered: 2 credits for both ASWB ACE and NBCC.

Course Description: Participants will examine how power dynamics and cultural context shape meaning-making, coping, and identity for individuals and communities. Through discussion and applied exercises, attendees will learn how to use PTMF-informed practices to support client empowerment, narrative reconstruction, and relational healing.
Learning Objectives:
- Explain the core components of the Power Threat Meaning Framework and how it differs from traditional diagnostic approaches to trauma.
- Analyze how power dynamics, cultural context, and meaning-making processes influence client narratives and trauma responses.
- Apply PTMF-informed narrative techniques to support client empowerment, identity development, and collaborative healing in clinical practice.
