Explore the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of aging, and learn to differentiate between normal and abnormal signs. Empower your social work practice by mastering age-inclusive language, combating ageism, and developing person-centered care plans for older adults.

Learning Method: Recorded asynchronous distance (non-interactive). These courses include a recorded video and access to the presented resources.

Amount of CE Credit Offered: 4 credits (general)

Fees: This bundle of 4 courses can be purchased individually for $50 or as part of an annual unlimited continuing education subscription available for $99/year.

Posttest: Following each course, the participant will take a 10 question posttest. A score of 70% correct is required to pass and obtain a certificate. If you do not pass the posttest, it can be re-taken after fully reviewing the materials again. 

Certificate of CompletionIn order to receive a certificate of completion for each course, you must indicate that you’ve watched the entire video portion of the course, earn a passing grade on the test, and complete the requested course evaluation.

Masters and Clinical level licensees pursuing continuing education.

Content Level:

Both beginning and intermediate-level content are included in these courses.

Instructor Bio(s):

Meagan Mitchell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been providing individualized and group instruction for over 5 years.

Meagan is currently a Child and Adolescent Therapist with The Sibley Group in Washington, DC. She is working towards her Play Therapy credential. Meagan is also the founder of Agents of Change Social Work Test Prep – a learning platform and community designed for social workers preparing for their licensing exams.

She loves combining her passion for learning and sharing her knowledge with the social work community. Meagan has a strong interest in tech & and innovation, specifically exploring the intersection of technology with social work practices. She is also passionate about multicultural supervision & and ethics; ensuring diverse voices are heard, understood, and supported in supervision and consultation.

Lastly, Meagan is currently a DSW student at SUNY Buffalo.

Tiffany Works

Tiffany Works is a Licensed Master of Social Work. She earned her BA from the University of Alabama, a MS in Counseling from Jacksonville State University, and a MSW from Jacksonville State University.

Tiffany has been practicing Social Work since 1996. She currently serves at the Community Outreach Coordinator for an inpatient psychiatric unit at a hospital in her community. She serves on several non-profit boards in her community and is a Reserve Deputy/Chaplain with her local county Sheriff’s Office.

Tiffany is also a certified women’s self defense instructor. She is passionate about providing mental health education. Tiffany serves as the primary planner for an annual mental health conference in her community.

Tiffany has a daughter, a son in law, and 2 grand pups. Tiffany also has 2 goats, Waylon and Willie; and a cat, Asher. In her spare time & for self-care, she enjoys working in her garden and reviving plants in need of rescue.

Crystal Weiss

Crystal Weiss LCSW, CCTP

Crystal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Memory and Cognition Clinic.

She has experience working with individuals across all settings and age groups. Her focus is in CBT, mindfulness, and reality therapies to help anyone manage their day to day difficulties.

She has a lifelong passion for working with older adults that began as an undergraduate intern at a local Aging Office in 2011. Since graduation, she has taken various roles in community mental health and outreach working with varied populations to most recently working in hospital systems. Stepping out of her comfort zone, she pursued her clinical licensure during COVID and have used resources through Agents of Change to assist with passing this year.

With a positive outlook and determination, she returned to working with her niche with hopes of encouraging other inspiring social workers to learn more about this field.

She is a current member of NASW and recently obtained additional certification of Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She is looking forward to continuing personal and professional growth with additional trainings and certifications, including creating content for future social workers.

She has been a social worker for over 10 years, bringing experience from the field of addictions, mental health, inpatient psychiatric settings, to community and school-based services. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding community services and advocating for my respective patient population while using positive behavioral and reality therapies to practice.

When she is not working, she is spending time with her family including my husband and 8-year-old daughter, Sara, and our fur kids Max (11 year old orange tabby) and Jax (almost 3 year old Husky).

Chaundra Scott, LMSW and Entrepreneur

Chaundra Scott is an LMSW from Hanover, MD. She earned her MSW degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) and has over 18 years of social work experience. Her social work experience ranges from child welfare, non-profit organizations, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health care.

She currently serves as a Medical Social Worker serving geriatric and home bound individuals. Chaundra is passionate about empowering individuals, communities, and families to guide them towards independence and a healthier lifestyle. In her spare time she enjoys being a volleyball mom to her one daughter, being an author, cooking, reading, crafting, and attending concerts.

Agents of Change, #1919, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 7/26/2023 – 7/26/2027.

Registrants who do not complete their course(s) will not receive a refund. Registrants who purchased the course but did not achieve a passing grade will not receive a refund.
