What should the social worker do FIRST?
Ask who the social worker is, what's happening, where they are, when this is in the helping process, and why the question is asking. Here: a clinical social worker, physical and emotional symptoms, and an assessment that isn't complete, so a medical evaluation comes first.

Is the Clinical exam right for me?
The ASWB Clinical exam is for social workers with a master's degree in social work who are applying for a clinical license, such as an LCSW, LICSW, or LISW, depending on the state. Most states also require a set number of supervised clinical hours before you can sit for the exam.
Does my state require the Clinical exam?
